This 3-day SQL Basics course is suitable for those who have little prior knowledge to learn about the structure and operating principles of SQL databases, get acquainted with the main SQL commands and functions, and practically try to create simple SQL requests.

1. Introduction to SQL language, databases and database management systems;
2. Key SQL commands and functions:
- Basic SELECT;
- ORDER BY;
- DISTINCT;
- Basic WHERE;
- WHERE expressions;
- Functions;
- CAST;
- GROUP BY and HAVING;
- Subqueries;
- Join.
3. Other topics.
If a training group consists of participants of one organization, the course content could be fine-tuned to the specifics of a particular database management system.
